Portland, live in the ‘bus

Cool Belgian duo, Portland, will be playing in the ‘bus Wednesday 22/02/23.

Tickets available from SEE Tickets.

If you’ve not heard them, check them out. They’re going to be huge!

Update 13/02/23: “Due to illness, we will unfortunately not be able to perform in Newcastle on 21/02 & 22/02. Really sorry for the inconvenience this might bring and we hope to be back soon” – Portland

Service & MOT

We’re closed from Sunday 08/01/23 until we reopen again on Friday 20/01/23, while our little railway arch has a Network Rail inspection.

Don’t worry though; you can still get gorgeous beer from our lovely neighbours, Axis.

And, with Station East and the Central, there’s still a cool Railway Quarter pub crawl.

Christmas raffle draw

Here’re the winning numbers for our Christmas charity raffle.

We’ll hold on to prizes until the end of the month, then redraw for any that haven’t been claimed.

So best keep your tickets.

If you’ve been lucky, just message or mail us (admin@microbus.pub).

Thanks to Station East, the Stone Trough and the Fiddlers Three for their kind donations.

And a special thanks to Peter for donating a pretty cool guitar.

Christmas Raffle

We’re having a Christmas raffle in aid of Gateshead Food Bank and Bryson’s Animal Shelter.

The draw will take place on Friday 16th December.

We’ll also have a couple of boxes in the ‘bus if anyone would like to donate any food (tins, pasta, rice and anything you feel that will help someone over Christmas).

Prizes include: A barely used Epiphone Thunderbird pro bass guitar (thanks Peter), ‘King Charles 3rd‘ stuffed dog basket with wine and glasses (kindly donated), Dog toys and treat basket, a case of Brewdog Christmas beer, 2×12 cases of Leith Juice (naturally), a Centrale beer box
a £20 bar tab in the ‘bus, a Railway Quarter pub crawl (£80 value), £20 gift cards for the Fiddlers Three and the Stone Trough (thanks guys).

Tickets are on sale in the ‘bus.

Bus to Wellington

After a lot of thought, we decided to ask the Yard of Ale brewery to brew us another house beer.

We left the octopus theme from the first three house beers behind, with our new NZ Pale.

It’s going down so well that we’re already on our seventh cask (of eight).
